Report on the South East Regional Luncheon 13th November 2010
A marquee in the gardens of the Uplands Conference Centre in High Wycombe was the venue for this years' South East Regional Luncheon. Great Missenden Tangent were the host Club and Luncheon Chairman Rosalind Aspinall and the team were pleased to welcome us all. We had an interruption from the men of Great Missenden 41 Club who came in wearing overalls, carrying ladders they checked all of the chandeliers (a reminder of the windy conditions as last years' SE Lunch) as part of their routine, they finished off doing the Full Monty to the delight of us all, taking off just the overalls.
The South East Lunch is one of the largest of the year and it is lovely to see old friends catching up with one another, many for the first time in years. As you can see from the photos everyone had a fantastic time. Next year Southend on Sea will be our host Club on 12 th November, why not put the date in your diary now.
