KEYNSHAM hosted this year’s luncheon at the Frys club in Keynsham, a venue well know to past Area 5 Circlers as it has been used for many years for ‘dos’. For those not familiar with the history of the building just driving through the gates and seeing the Cadburys signs and hoarding's for Curley Whirleys, Turkish Delight etc. was very nostalgic. It was a really lovely venue.
Lis Evans and her Luncheon team were so pleased that we were able to enjoy an afternoon with a little retail therapy, allowed us to have time to catch up with old friends, a fantastic meal and a brilliant speaker, an author and local girl know to many of the Keynsham members (Jane Fornear now Watts is even given an acknowledgement in one of her books).
Downend Tangent are hosting next years lunch why not put the date in your diary now, you won’t want to miss it.
