C.A.T.S. (Central Area Tangent Scotland) hosted the Scottish Lunch at the Grange Manor Hotel in Grangemouth on October 16th
The night before the lunch members of CATS and the Executive were having a meal at Dunblane Golf Club enjoying the chance to get to know each other when a large group of men walked past. These men were going to a meeting and had left their women at home, Dunblane 41 Club were more than surprised that they were sharing their venue with us, be it in a separate room. President Gill along with Jan, Jan, Terrie, Karen and CATS took greetings to their meeting and they were thrilled we were able to join them for a few minutes.
Next morning 70 ladies were greeted by a young lady piper and waiters holding a glass of sparkling wine or juice for each of us, a really good start to a wonderful lunch. As a reminder of the day we were all given a handmade cake and a bookmark. I can personally vouch for the fruit cake it was wonderful and the cat bookmark is so useful.
Turriff and District will be the hosts for next year in Aberdeenshire, please keep 17th September 2011 free it is sure to be a good day.
Just a reminder, As a Tangent member you are able to visit any of the Regional Lunches, how about having a ‘Girls weekend away’. I know of one Club in the South East region who do this every year, flying over to Ireland for the Irish Lunch.
